The Gaming Month Ahead – December

oj137r

Nothing…well close to. There’s hardly anything of note this month, and to be honest, it’s probably for the best. After the last two months collection of quality games, what we need now is time to play them! So that’s what December and the Christmas period is…time to go through the backlog and purchase any awesome games we missed at a reduced price (of course!).

This month the Lord of the Rings MOBA, Guardians of Middle Earth comes to PSN and XBL. Skyrim’s Dragonborn DLC comes to XBL, with the PC version unannounced, but probably due out a few weeks later, and the PS3 version joining the list of DLC’s that probably will never show up. The Mass Effect trilogy brings the first game to the PS3 for the first time, it will also be available as a standalone title on PSN. Sonic Alls-Stars Racing 2 comes to the handhelds and Paper Mario: Sticker Star is due for the 3DS.

As it’s the end of the year it’s probably time to also think about what you thought was the best game of the year. Vote in the poll on the sidebar and speak your mind in the comments.
