January wasn’t exactly a packed month of gaming – though I’m sure Mass Effect 2 on PS3, DC Universe and the coming Friday’s Dead Space 2 no doubt entertained and will continue to entertain many. But enough about January – February’s almost here, and on the run up to another busy March, it’s got a pretty darn good line up. Top of the pile are undoubtedly Marvel Vs Capcom 3, Killzone 3 and Bulletstorm. I’m sure a lot of DPD faithful are going to be getting McV3 and hopefully we can get some multiplayer action out of Killzone 3 too.
Let’s not forget the other titles this month too that are sure to interest. RPG enthusiasts have Two Worlds 2 and Trinity: Souls of Zill O’ll – the latter of those being developed by Omega Force of Dynasty Warriors fame. Fable 3 finally gets a PC release and the little publicised Knights Contract also shows its face.
Two Worlds 2 (PS3/X360/PC)
Lord of Arcana (PSP)
Fable 3 (PC)
Test Drive Unlimited 2 (PS3/X360/PC)
MvP3: Fate of Two Worlds (PS3/X360)
Trinity: Souls of Zill O’ll (PS3)
Hunted: The Demon’s Forge (PS3/X360/PC)
Killzone 3 (PS3)
Gray Matter (PC/X360)
Knights Contract (PS3/X360)
Settlers 7: Paths to a Kingdom (PC)
Killzone 3 and Trinity are my buys for the month…and eventually MvC3. So what are yours?
UPDATE: 31/1 – While they are still shown as due out this month on most retail sites, Hunted: Demon’s Forge is slated for June and Fable 3 is unconfirmed (which means it could take months!). On a related note, Deus Ex, while shown as due out in March, has been delayed until the next fiscal year. So that’s april at the earliest.
