The Gaming Friday Ahead – October V

There’s an awful lot of fridays in this October. Five of them in fact…and this last one has a ton of games in it. Headlining this weeks releases are Force Unleashed 2 and Fable 3.

Force Unleashed 2, as anyone who’s played the demo on PSN or XBL will tell you, is the staggeringly improved sequel to the original Force Unleashed which launched some time ago to become the biggest selling Star Wars game. It’s original story and clever use of moves and powers in a solid action adventure title pleased many and while the sequel is not reinventing the wheel, it sure is putting some nice alloys on it. Force Unleashed has the player swinging Starkillers twin light saber’s through another galaxy spanning adventure this friday.

Fable 2 was good – it was a good, solid adventure, that was a little on the wrong side of easy. The sequel builds on what was achieved in Fable 2 and without chaning the basic mechanics, Fable 3 gives the player more control over thier interactions with the common folk and a chance to rule Albion. As ever with Fable games it probably won’t be able to do everything peter molyneux has said it will, but it’s certain to be a good game nonetheless.

Other things to look out for include the Ultimate Edition of Dragon Age, which includes all previously released DLC (including the expansion Awakenings), WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2011 and Ivy the Kiwi…okay maybe not.

@val – I don’t know you in real life. I don’t know who you think I am. I am BigBob the one and only. The games I get are for my personal use.
