This one’s come a little late (apologies) and sadly is looking a little sparse. The big event of the month is undoubtedly the 360 Slim hardware on the 16th. With the RROD (hopefully) a thing of the past, I’m sure a lot of people will be looking to get a hold of 360 that won’t die on them at the drop of a hat. The more savvy shoppers out there will wait for the xmas deals to get the most value out of a 360 bundle – but I’m sure a lot of you are likely to be impatient to get your grubby mits on the shiny black surface of the new console.
In other news the long awaited StarCraft 2 is finnally due out this month. The original Starcraft was an exteremely popular game and a lot of people still play it’s multiplayer today – which really says something for gameplay over graphics as far as cult games like this are concerned. With nothing of note for Wii or PS3 owners, DS get’s the next Dragon Quest and PSP gets the next Ace Combat. The 360 opens the month with Crackdown 2 and ends it with Ninty Nine Nights 2, giving it the best line up in an otherwise barren month. With the deluge of games we’ve been getting, it’s nice to have a quiet month to fully digest them for once.
